We take pride in the quality of our development and consulting services. Because we provide digital services and intangible goods, we have a strict refund policy to protect the time and resources invested in every project.
By purchasing a service or product from Tech Parallel, you agree to the following terms:
1. SERVICES (Development, Design, & Migration)
A. Deposits & Commencement
- Booking Deposits: Any deposit paid to secure a slot in our calendar or to begin a project is non-refundable once the project start date has passed or once preliminary work (research, setup, wireframing) has begun.
- Why? A deposit reserves your time in our schedule, preventing us from taking on other clients.
B. Cancellations During a Project
- If you (the Client) wish to cancel a project after work has commenced but before it is completed, you forfeit the initial deposit.
- If more than 50% of the work has been completed (as determined by project milestones), you are liable for the full payment of the project.
C. Completed Projects
- No Refunds on Completed Work: Once a service has been delivered (e.g., the website is live, the migration is complete, or the files are handed over), no refunds will be issued.
- Satisfaction Guarantee: We offer a revision period (as stated in your specific invoice/contract) to fix any bugs or errors. We will work with you to ensure the project meets the agreed-upon scope, but we do not offer refunds based on a change of mind after delivery.
2. DIGITAL PRODUCTS (eBooks, Templates, Prompts)
- All Sales Are Final: Since digital products (such as Notion Templates, Prompt Libraries, or Code Snippets) are downloadable and cannot be “returned,” we do not offer refunds for these products once the download link has been sent to you.
- Exceptions: If the file is corrupted or technically defective, we will provide a replacement file.
3. CONSULTATION CALLS
- Rescheduling: You may reschedule a consultation call up to 24 hours in advance without penalty.
- No-Shows: If you miss a scheduled call without notice, your fee is forfeited and no refund will be provided.
- Refunds: If you are unsatisfied with a consultation, you must notify us within 24 hours of the call. Refunds for advice-based services are granted at our sole discretion.
4. AFFILIATE & THIRD-PARTY PURCHASES
Tech Parallel frequently reviews and recommends third-party software (e.g., Shopify, Hosting, AI Tools).
- We Do Not Handle Third-Party Refunds: If you purchase a tool through one of our affiliate links (e.g., you buy a Jasper AI subscription because we recommended it), your transaction is with that company, not us.
- You must contact that specific company (e.g., Shopify Support) to request a refund. We cannot process refunds for software we do not own.
5. CHARGEBACKS
You agree to contact us via email to resolve any billing disputes before issuing a chargeback with your bank or credit card provider.
- If a chargeback is issued for a service that was delivered in accordance with our terms, we reserve the right to dispute the chargeback with evidence of work delivered.
- We also reserve the right to blacklist any client who issues a fraudulent chargeback from future services.
